Stardust Companies is the developer of a new hotel, commercial-retail and restaurant project on 17 acres immediately east of Campbell Ave./Kino Pkwy. and south of I-10. The project will require City of Tucson approval to rezone the property from R-1 and R-2 zones to OCR-1 and C-2 zones. After the City departments and other agencies have reviewed the rezoning application, the City will schedule a public hearing on the proposed rezoning before the Zoning Examiner. Interested persons may submit written comments to the Development Services Director before this public hearing, or speak at the hearing. The Zoning Examiner will make a recommendation about the rezoning to the Mayor and Council who will then make the final decision.
