Hewett - Humphrey Boulevard Closure

A temporary closure of SW Scholls Ferry Road and the intersection of SW Hewett and SW Humphrey Boulevards is scheduled to take place between March 17th and March 27th during spring- break. The temporary closures are necessary to complete construction of the new SW Humphrey Blvd. connection to Scholls Ferry Rd.

SW Scholls Ferry Rd. will be closed to through traffic between SW Patton Rd. and the Sylvan Interchange. The closure will be in place from 7 PM Friday, March 17th through 5 AM Monday, March 20th. SW Scholls Ferry Rd. will be closed over a weekend to prevent routing of weekday commuter traffic through the neighborhoods.

SW Hewett and SW Humphrey Blvds. will be closed to through traffic in the area where they connect with the Sylvan Interchange. The closure will be in place from 7 PM Friday, March 17th through 5 AM Sunday, March 26th.

The closures have been scheduled to coincide with spring break to cause the least disruption to school bus traffic. Signs will be placed 10 days to 2 weeks prior to the closures to alert drivers of the schedule.
