Blockwatch Applies to Beautify Wilson Avenue Islands

Blockwatch applys for UIRF Funds

LWSMB applied for Urban Infrastructure
(UIRF) Funds to beautify the two island
parks on Wilson between Mound and Cole
with decorative lighting, trash recepticles, brick pavers, and two gazebos. This design was conceived by the neighbors around 1990 and was included in the South of Main Beautification Guidelines.There were no
funds available at that time. We should know by October if our request was accepted.
