Ask Congress to...
MARCH FORTH FOR CHILD CARE!
March 4, 2002
The Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG)?—our major federal child care program?—is due to be reauthorized in 2002. This is our chance to seek major new federal funding for child care! With a slow economy and growing state deficits, this is a critical opportunity to support America?’s working families and invest in our children?’s early learning.
On March 4th, join thousands of advocates from across the country in speaking up for child care! Ask Congress to "March Forth for Child Care" and support significant new funds for the CCDBG.
Your actions make a difference!
To make an impact on Congress we must generate as many calls and e-mails to Congress as possible. On March 4th, please:
1. Call or e-mail your U.S. Senators and Representatives.
