Rethinking Federal Education Programs for kids with Disabilities

Three national experts offer suggestions for improving the IDEA in this
Center on Educational Policy paper. They may disagree on urgency and
timing, but they all agree on the areas that need improvement -- a
greater
emphasis on academic achievement for children with disabilities, a
reduction in paperwork and complexity, and better funding.
