PROTECT HEALTH PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Aug 19, 2002

The health care subcommittee of the Children's Advocates Roundtable is
writing to the Department of Health Services, proposing principles for
the
state to adopt when considering programs to be cut, in order to
minimize
adverse effects on children and families.

This is also in light of BL 02-21 [see above] from the Department of
Finance which directs state agencies to prepare for permanent 20%
budget
reductions.
