SIXTH ANNUAL NATIONWIDE DAY IN COURT TO TAKE PLACE ON MARCH 25-29
Nationwide Day In Court Week, a signature project of the Black
Community Crusade for Children's Juvenile and Family Court Judges'
Leadership Council, is modeled after CDF's Child Watch Visitation
Program. During this week elected officials and community leaders are
invited to spend a day in juvenile and family courts across the country
to observe first-hand the faces and hear the stories of the real
children and families behind the statistics and reports. The week-long
event takes place when Congress is out of session. This year, the
Nationwide Day in Court Week events will take place the week of March
25-29, 2002. If you are interested in working with a judge in your
community to plan a Day in Court Event contact Jesselyn McCurdy, JLC
