Why? Because after generations of neglect and abuse, the 40 mile long Salado watershed is now a terrific community resource as part of the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails System.

Make sure your vision for the future of this precious resource counts by joining your neighbors in the planning process.
Want to help a kid corral a crayfish?
As we work to develop educational programs for children, we'll need volunteers who can spend a short amount of time introducing kids to the wild, wet, wonderful world of squishy creek stuff. Biology is never boring when your feet are wet!
We are an all volunteer organization so we don't maintain a business phone.
