Then

Years ago when dreamers envisioned an emerald necklace of naturally green hike and bike trails encircling the city, the Salado Creek Foundation was born.
Then, there were no taxing initiatives and city-sponsored boards of energized stakeholders.
Then it was just a few dedicated souls who believed this jewel in the rough was worth preserving, protecting and enhancing.

Now

Today, thousands of people are routinely enjoying time on the trails that have already been built and millions of dollars are about to be invested in making the rest of the dream come true.

So

So what does that mean to the original stakeholders of the Salado Creek Foundation? Where shall we go from here?
