Columbus City Council To Hear Sladeco Zoning Request

The Columbus City Council will hear a request from Dominion Homes to rezone the Sladeco property from Rural to Residential zoning on April 7, 2003 at 6:30 PM. The hearing will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd floor, 90 West Broad St. There are three zonings to be heard before the Sladeco zoning and there is no opposition to the three. Therefore, the Sladeco Zoning could be heard as early as 6:45. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting. As of today it appears that Dominion will be providing a 25' easement, a 6'cedar fence and pine trees along the eastern border of our subdivision to act as a buffer to their new development.

Ike Stage and Grove City still plan to request that Columbus and Grove City agree to a "boundary line change" after the Columbus zoning that could place the property in Grove City.
