Board Update

May 30, 2001

The last meeting was held on 5/16/01.

Renee reported 2 new CD's were opened. the plan is to keep these rolling and add to them upon maturity.

There wasdiscussion as to the expense of relays at the Corpus Meet. It was suggested a surcharge be added for those participating in relays to cover the expense. This was tabled for further discussion.

The pool at UTSA is down. Alternate provisions are being sought.

Alamo Heights will now have a WAVE program.

Communication at the Colonies North pool needs to be addressed. Mark will set up a parent meeting to address any concerns with groups at that pool.

Linda Elley will serve as temporary Elementary head Age Group Coach.

Celeste discussed the design for the Championship t-shirts. The shirt will sell for appox. $10/each.

Cindy Lane has volunteered to serve as Spirit Chair for the summer.

Championship parties will be done by Group Reps. in the individual groups.

Mark will arrange for the photographer for team photos in June.

The budget will be discussed at the next Board meeting.
