This is not true.  First, I live in Pine Valley, Utah and my neighbor decided to unilaterally install a stupid fire siren, YES that's right a siren.  It is 128 db loud enough to destroy my hearing.  After contacting the County Commissioner-Gardner, he sided with the old fart fire department and I have been subjected to this for 3 years and confirmed hearing loss!!!!!!!!!  So tell me how occassional loud music is worse?

this is ok because since my down stairs nieghbor does not seem to  understand that not only am i 5mo pregnant but i work 2 jobs... one of which i get off of between 9 and 11 pm and the other one of which i have to get up  for between 2 and 3am... but he still parades his drunk and or high friends in and out the back door till 1am and expects me not to call the cops even though i have asked him very nicely if he couuld keep the noise level down... what reason do i have to not call the cops??? and why should he be allowed to keep me awake??? so yes i belive this law is ok... 

I get the same crap in my neighborhood. I can beat the crap outa my drums and not wake my sleeping son, yet ppl who need to sleep at 1 in the afternoon call the cops on me. I dont get it.

Loud Music is one of the main complaints warranting ordinance enforcement.

Your vehicle is not a rolling dance club and your "music" is not appreciated by all.

Same goes if you live in an apartment or townhouse or close to the fence dwelling neigbourhood. You want to blast the walls off your house ? Go out into the prairie or desert with no neighbors for miles and do that. You want to live in a civilized society ? Don't rob other people of their freedom to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

While loud loanmowers like the ones illegal immigrants use, should be outlawed along with dirt blowers (for blasting the dirt off the lawn or street into people's windows), the rest are emergencies and cannot be avoided. Also, house remodeling and roofing does not happen between the hours of 22:00 - 07:00.

Want to party on national holidays ? Go to clubs and bars, they were specifically licensed by location in a commercial zone. Your pigeon opinion is not appreciated.
