Some neighbors are still having difficulty finding and/or receiving the help they need to get their post Hurricane Ivan repairs started. Whether you are one of those people, or have a neighbor who is, this information may be helpful. The Florida State help line is toll free, 1-800-22-STORM. Call there to report insurance company difficulties or other items where assistance has been hard to find. Rebuild Northwest Florida is an Escambia/Santa Rosa joint long term recovery committee asking to help you with hurricane recovery assistance. Contact them locally at 497-7024 and a member of a Needs Assessment team will contact you to see how they can help. Please remember ?“help?” doesn?’t always mean financial aid - it may be just information you need.
