American Creosote Works EPA Update

ACW Project Manager Shea Jones will participate in a neighborhood meeting on July 23,2008 at Grotto Hall at 6 PM. Several residents received letters from the EPA concerning the results of soil sampling done in December, 2007. All the samples taken were sent for independent testing to a lab in central Florida. Shea has begun her study and analysis, and should be able to provide us some of the information and her future plans, especially concerning contaminants discoverred on private property. Shea will also give us another site update, and offer some tentative timetables for when the capping will actually begin. L?’Tonya Spencer may be able to share information about an American Creosote website for information sharing. Please come and ask them any questions you may have.
