In a city known across the nation for it’s “green” attitude it is surprising for me to learn about how few scooters there are on the road in Olympia. I spot scooters on nearly every drive I take through Seattle and Tacoma, but not Olympia. Why is that? There is a Vespa dealership in town. Is the problem lack of awareness or is Olympia not ready to embrace a cleaner and less expensive mode of transportation?
