Dear Homeowners and tenants,
I would like to express my gratitude for the board in voting me in as president. I would like to take a few minutes and talk about our plans for 2005.
I moved into this neighborhood in August of 2001. My desire to live here was the both the modern layout of our patio homes plus the ample amount of property we are located on. When I attended my first board meeting I was welcome with open arms and friendly faces. I felt a strong desire to become part of this team that really cares about our neighborhood. I offered to contribute my time to help us maintain a strong communities. Over the years I noticed several people who inspired me no longer show up at our quarterly meetings. Members who do attend are still dedicated to the committee. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back any members who would like to offer ideas or volunteer to our association.
We are looking at implementing several new ideas for 2005 and we would like you opinion.
Tentative plans are:
* A visit from the county extension Agents Master Gardener will answer questions regarding lawn problems as well as landscape questions.
* Establishment of a tool loan database where owners can borrow tools and get general advice on common problems and repair to our units.
* Card night (Bridge club), A monthly meeting of those who would like to play cards and socialize with other neighbors.
* Renewing our Website with current information and calendar of events.
Again any ideas you would like to see please contact myself or any member of the association.
