Settlers Crossing HOA

On January 7, 2009, I found a brown puppy sleeping on my front door mat.  He has a brown leather collar and what appears to be a white flea collar, but no tags.  I have taken him in as I couldn't leave his outside.  He is brown and looks like a weiner dog.  He has some scratches and looks like he may have been attacked/in a fight with another animal.  He is a bit skinny too. I think the OKC animal welfare shelter has a rule that if an animal isn't claimed by the 14th day, they put it up for adoption.

With that being said, if no one comes to claim the the puppy........I know a loving family of 4 children that may be interested in adopting it.  Their dog recently died and they are absolutely heartbroken.

That would be wonderful.  I  would think he would be adoapted, but I hate to take him to the shelter just in case that doesn't happen.  Have them contact me.
