Your first paragraph really struck me...it made me sit down and try to come up with a solution for the hungry children AND the homeless. After many hours of agonizing thought, I came up with a solution..feed the homeless to the hungry children !

I understand your concern for the homeless and the hungry children; however, I am not sure why those issues would be brought into this discussion.  Furthermore, there is not much that I can do to solve that problem.  Looking out for my own property value is something I can do.  And if you live in a neighborhood, I am surprised it is not a concern of yours.  Neighborhoods have covenants for a reason - that is - to protect the property value.   Wake up!
