The recent newsletter - what a total mess. Nothing positive at all - just negative and I wonder if the board has children? They have made them the target of more than one threat in the newsletter.
I am protesting spending money for signs to say NO Motorized Vehicles - this is a total waste of money and I live on the greenbelt and very seldom do I see such vehicles.
We need something for the children and something that will attract new people to our neighborhood - like a community pool, work out facility, etc.
I think not printing a terrible newsletter would be a cost savings. Whoever wrote this must be pretty misreable. They talk about only the money they did not receive in dues - I pay mine every year - so tell me how much you raised and where it is going as far as costs. Seems we have about 100 people who have not paid, and 277 who have - so $277 X $247 = $68,419 - where is this money being spent - the newsletter shows $37713 being spent through June - my question is Other expenses insurance and utilities? $11,000????? what are we insuring?? what is other?? Managment fees? office supplies? postage - for what? they stick the newsletter on my door...
Sorry, don't mean to be as grumpy as the newsletter - just have questions and concerns.
