First Block Party at the dam
It may not have been 'in the block' but it was a good time to meet the other families on the block, thanks to Atanya, Pam, and anyone else responsible for organizing this. I wish we had a greenspace like that in our subdivision! What a great place to meet, complete with playground to keep those littler ones busy. Anyway, if you or others you know missed signing up for one of the interest sheets (playgroup, garage sale, neighborhood association, euchre group, entrance landscaping, etc.) please contact me so you too can become involved. Also, remember that there is a community directory you can participate in, or update your current description (i.e. e-mail address, etc.).
One other idea that came up was a way to tie names and faces together, either a 'family of the week' interview posted on the website (with family photo) or incorporating the photo into the directory with that information.
