Are you up to you neck in stuff? Are you wondering what to do with the Stairmaster no one ever used? Are you troubled by the huge painting of cows that was a Christmas gift from Aunt Millicent? Consider this!
A community-wide garage sale will be held on Saturday, May 20th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. The Shores Association will place the advertisement in the Daily Times-Call the week prior to the 20th. Shores residents who wish to participate should plan to do their own marking and pricing and place their items in their own drive or garage, just as they would for a private garage sale. Homeowners may choose to sell one item or a garage full. They may choose to participate for part of the time or the entire time.
In order for Shores residents to have the opportunity to shop also, participants who wish, may open on Friday night. Friday night shopping will be for the Shores only. This is optional, and, since it is closed, will not be advertised in the paper. Residents who choose to participate will set their own time, probably by opening their garage door to indicate that they are open.
If this event is considered to be desirable, it will be repeated next spring, at the Board's discretion. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Homeowners who wish to participate in planning this or any other event should contact Countryside Asset Management or a Board member.
