We are AGAINST sidewalks.  Everyone would benefit from turning lanes off Shelbyville Rd.  If you haven't already almost been hit trying to take a right at our entrances you are lucky. 

My husband suggested that if we let it get out that the tickets for speeding in Bellemeade will cost $1000 then perhaps, even if no tickets are ever written, it would help.  I'm not so sure that one get get the police to agree to that tactic.  And, yes about the increased number of speed humps (always thought they were called bumps).  Think that might just help.

Sadly the state of Kentucky sets the fines fro speeding.

There is a difference between speed "Bumps" and speed "Humps"

We have speed humps.

Call LMPD and complain about the speeders.  Call every time it gets bad like it is now.

Spend the money to get 2 more speed humps/bumps.  A child cold die while we are debating.  The original recommendation by the experts was for six, but we only got 4.   They are too far apart. 

Vickie Stearman already got the required signatures for those six. We are due 2 more.  Just put the speed humps in.  Mr.  Hill, can I get you to mahe that motion at the next commission meeting in the name of safety?
