On New Years eve, Christopher Cross, a Bronx male who just got out of jail after 10 years for car theft, got drunk, beat his girlfriend, stole a car out of a parking lot in Silver beach in the Bronx, engaged in a high speed chase with the cops from the 45th precinct, and crashed the stolen car into several parked cars. He refused a breathalyzer and spent the night in jail. The next day his friend William Crean, also of the Bronx, contacted his friend at the 45th, had the drunk driving charges dropped, and had Christopher Cross released after posting a small amount of bail. Well, Christopher Cross is a free man today. His parole officer, with the help of his lawyer, had the hearing postponed. They are planning to keep postponing the hearing until Christopher Cross' parole expires in 6 months. This is appalling. Is there anything you can do to expose such a horrendous crime?
