What’s going on with the Landscaping?

Our grass is getting a total facelift. Bermuda grass is tough but if it isn?’t fertilized and aerated it eventually will die. The common area has become totally overrun with weeds and add all the years we over seeded with winter grass to the mix and the Bermuda grass didn?’t stand a chance.

However, our landscape company is working to get the grass back in shape. It is going to take a little time to grow the new grass. First they aerated the property. Then they are going to kill off the weeds. This is going to make it look even worse so don?’t get upset. This should allow the water to get to the roots and gives the existing grass some room to grow. At this point bare spots will be seeded with new grass and finally they will fertilize.

Keep in mind that this will take time and money to accomplish and will be done as quickly as possible. Our landscape company is working very hard to do all the work. We had a bad year for weeds and this has slowed things down.
We will also be putting new trees in a couple of areas and some gravel where needed.
