We like many have change our trash service to the recommended community one and canceled our contract with Waste Management (WM). It has been almost two months since we cancelled the service with WM and still after several phone calls and numerous emails they still have not picked up there trash can. Has any one had the same problem and if you managed to have it resolved, please let me know how you did it. We are tired of looking at that can at the end of our driveway!!!

Keep Calling ....
We did indeed have the same issue, and after several phone calls, they did finally pick up the trash can. Persistence.

Two weeks!
It took exactly two weeks to pick up mine. Just keep calling or keep it.

Trash Can issue
We had a similar problem with Advanced Disposal. They actually tried to take our trash cans twice before our contract had ended. I actually caught the guy once trying to take the trash can and told him to come the following week. They never did come back so now we are stuck with 2 trash cans also. The only good thing is if we have overflow we use the Advanced Disposal trash can and the new company empty that also! saves have a build up of trash bags next to the new trash can.
