Dear friends,

What is truly frightening me is the number of empty homes broken into on Main Street in Pawtucket and several in the Darlington neighborhood near St. Cecelia's.  The homeless have to live somewhere. 

The homeless nor graffitti folks are not allowed to practice as criminals taking other people's property. We need to create sufficient housing and services for all, but there still is no reason that one steals or is a criminal irrespective of anything. Perhaps if enough folks lined up at Crossroads or Access RI, efforts would create a quick solution.

We also will have free warm coats for distribution at the visitors center on Friday the 28th from 10-2pm for those who need it. Not a complete solution, but we all keep working on the solutions.
