Does anyone know what is going in across Kyle Seale from the Hills? The work over there has been going on for a long time (well over a year) and it seems that all they have done is clear and move some dirt around. They were clipping right along at the first putting in the roads, etc., then it seemed abandoned for a while - roads covered over with dirt so it doesn't even look like they have done much. They did put in a large concrete water drainage thing (which took MONTHS), then spent lots of time back-filling that area. Now there seems to be more work happening, but it just seems to be happening at an absolute snail's pace.
We have asked one of the builders in the Hills (Medallion) what it was going to be but they claim not to know. No one seems to know that we've asked (other builders in the area). We don't think it's Toll Brothers as their neighborhoods are all connected and this is too far down from them (unless it's connected and you can't tell unless you're looking at it from above - but don't think so).
We were thinking that perhaps the economy is affecting the pace of work - I think the newer developments are selling slowly, so maybe the developer of this new (subdivision I assume) area is just taking their sweet time. Or maybe the funding fell through and they have been trying to get it together to continue the work?? Just some speculation. We're just curious - and rather tired of looking at the mess over there.
