Speeding and stop sign running goes on throughout the whole day and night, even when the gates are closed.  And it's very hard or impossible to get license plate #s or often makes/models when they're speeding by, especially at night.  Most of the time, I see them from inside my house.

Another thing I've noticed is that traffic seems to have increased on Candelaria ever since the speed bumps were installed at the other gate. Possibly to avoid the speed bumps there?  I still think we need speed bumps at the Sonoma Pkwy gate to the Summit, too.

hmmmmmmmm.

perhaps the proposed security cameras and recording devices(if any) could be robust enough to calc the time from entrance to exit using each gate and vice versa.

that would be spiffy.

are the speed bumps that expensive to install that they weren't placed at the summit gate when the others were? perhaps a special buy deal could have been had to have them installed, thus realizing a savings of some kind.

are there other areas that need speed bumps?
