As we all know it is winter once again. This means we will be plowing our streets from time to time as snow dictates. We ask you to be cognisant of the plowing operation and park whatever vehicles you can in your driveway. This makes the plowing operation a lot more efficient and removes your vehicle from harms way of the plows. We know everybody can't get all of their vehicles off of the street but those left on the street will more than likely need to be dug out. When you push snow it must go somewhere, storage is the issue, when a car is on the street the plow operator normally can not get close enough to effectively remove snow without risking hitting your car, so all of the snow they have been pushing to that point, now ends up in front of, behind or at the side of your car on the street. Help out where ever you can but a driveway or garage would be the best place to leave your car during periods of impending snow.

Hopefully we are now looking at the last big snow of the season this weekend, everything in the original post still applies.  If at all possible, get your vehicles in your driveways or garages to facilitate the plowing operation.  Your cooperation will be appreciated.
