Born and reared in Goodman, Mississippi, Rev. Otha Aden is married to Sylvia K. Aden and the father of four children and three grandchildren.
He came to salvation at the age of 10 and found his role model in Jesus Christ (“But God commended his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom. 5:8). In 1966 he was the first missionary sent out from Community Baptist Church, Rev. Richard C. Mattox, Pastor. He is the founding Pastor of the Southern Heights Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, IN and has served there for 36 years.
He has spoken in the foreign countries of Liberia, West Africa, Jamaica, and the Virgin Islands. He has also traved to Rome, Athens, Greece, and Corinth.
