Just wanted to pass on word that several of our neighbors are using Nextdoor to discuss crime in the area. If you haven't heard of Nextdoor, it's a free website and mobile app that gets neighborhoods connected through a private and secure website. Members verify their address, so people who don;t live in your neighborhood can;t see what's being discussed. This makes Nextdoor really useful for Block Watch discussions, but also great for organizing yard sales, advertising things for sale, making recommendations for service providers, and connecting with neighbors that you haven't met before! Nextdoor also creates a neighborhood directory of other members in the neighborhood to help you remember names and faces. Southern Pines, Hamilton Highlands, Obetz/Reese, and Andover Estates each have established Nextdoor sites and others in the Scioto Southlands area have recently started! To get started, all you have to do is go to Nextdoor.com and enter your address!
