Southern Plaza Homeowners Association

Spring picnic a success

City officials listen to residents

Over 75 neighbors attended this year's picnic in the greenbelt and enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers and each other's "special dishes". We were blessed with warm weather and no rain!

We also had several guests from the City of Tulsa. Amy America represented the Mayor's office; Officer Randy Hughes represented the Tulsa Police Department; our Councilman, John Eagleton and family attended and several firemen brought a fire truck to the joy of the youngsters and those young at heart. All took the time to listen to the neighbors' concerns. These varied from neighborhood speeding to the increase in crime within the City. All of our guests had one thing in common; they all listened to our concerns and were willing to try to make a difference.

The Southern Plaza Board of Directors thanks everyone who contributed to the success of our picnic and we look forward to your help in making this a successful year for our Association.
