This is the annual report of activities for fiscal year 2005 as required by Article X, Section 2 of the SPHA By-Laws.

2005 Key Accomplishments:
• Tree planting – 15 trees were planted to continue the line of trees in the Salk Elementary grounds along 57th Street.
• Organization of Board of Directors
• By-laws updated
• Spring picnic
• Fall General Meeting and officer elections
• Newsletter publications and distributions
• Website creation and regular updates (http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/tulsa/spha/)
• Traffic studies for neighborhood safety – Traffics studies were conducted by City of Tulsa engineers to determine if additional speed/traffic control measures were appropriate. Two additional stop signs were added.
• Regular grounds maintenance in the greenbelt and on 51st street area.
• Joined in Partnership with Salk Elementary and Byrd Middle School and made a financial donation to each.

Goals for 2006
The following broad goals were adopted by the Board for 2006:

1. Maintain the greenbelt property and lawn area along 51st.
2. Hold at least one major neighborhood gathering.
3. Effectively communicate neighborhood information.
4. Continued support of neighborhood schools.
5. Complete at least one major beautification project.
6. Relentlessly promote involvement.

More specifically, the Board has approved or will propose the following:
• Carry-out a plan to subsidize projects that improve the curbside appeal of neighborhood homes (approved by the Board).
• Organize a neighborhood garage sale (approved by the Board).
• Hold a spring picnic (approved by the Board).
• Continue with the partnership and financial support of the neighborhood schools (will be proposed for the 2006-2007 school year).
• Build an entrance sign at the 51st street entrance. Will seek Vision 2025 funding, but will get it done one way or another (approved by the Board).
• Quarterly Newsletters to effectively communicate Neighborhood information (approved by the Board).
• Continue to maintain the greenbelt property and the 51st Street entrance.
