At the November 8th Precinct Community Relations meeting Pct.Command indicated felony arrests were up, as well as narcotics raids, which totaled 23 for three weeks in November.Over 1400 vehicles have been tagged and greater than 1000 vehicles have been towed since Labor day.1300 moving violations were cited along with issuance of 400 environmental tickets.
Officer Jakeway of Commercial Auto Theft Section, asked residents to report any 'chop shop' locations to his office 596-2555.

President Arthur Divers appealed to community residents for donations toward the annual Christmas Party, set for December 13. Cooked food and/or cash donations are needed. Call Chairperson Mrs Samuels 532-7651 with information.

Be reminded of the Santa Toy Drop at Rouge Park Dec 03, 8-9p. Bring new toy donations.
-There will be a toy gift wrapping(over 400 toys), at the Eighth on Friday Nov.29(this week). Volunteers are needed to WRAP.

Detroit Fire Dept, Chief Lee Moore talked to members about home fire safety, and the need for residents to increase their awareness during the upcoming holiday season.
