At the last Community Relations meeting President Divers congratulated all volunteers who helped make the Police Week Luncheon a success.
Lt. McCarty, head of 8th Pct detectives, informed of the successful apprehension of perpetrators of a recent string of robberies in area shopping lots Also the three perpetrators responsible for a number of home burglaries in our near area, were also taken into custody by 8th Pct police officers
During the spring Far NW Clean Sweep efforts in the 8th Pct area resulted in 240 abandoned vehicles being towed.
