As our Eighth Precinct Community Relations meetings resumed tonight, Commander Stacy Brackens told members the 8th Precinct was one of three wsetside precincts that will be in a new Wayne County Prosecutors' Office initiative. Commander Brackens introduced Assistant Procesecuting Attorney Kim Miles, who is assinged as the Community Prosecutor in the Eighth Precinct area. The initiative is intended to keep the WC Prosecutors office closer to enforcement in individual communities, and hopefully expedite criminal cases through the court system.
