-At the April Police Community Relations Mtg, Commander Turnbull said in a recent check of auto repair shops in the 8th Pct area, 5 of 6 shops visited were unlicensed in Detroit, and 2 were not even registered or licensed with the State. Citizens and customers are advised to ask for licensed proof before entering into agreements for service.
-In the last twelve days of this month 8th Pct. officers participated in 13 successful drug raids on home dwellings in the area.
