"The County building program is still in discussion. The possibilities now are to move Social Services from downtown Littleton to Aurora, also move the Sheriff's department to the Justice Center. These moves are predicated on building new buildings.

Arapahoe County Sheriff is now able to add up to four new officers that will do nothing but be on patrol in the County for traffic.

South Suburban Park and Recreation is now offering programs each week for various age groups at Goodson Center for dancing, etc., also serving Recreation Cafe (coffee).

There are tax seminars being offered at the libraries in the district, for those who need advice filing tax returns.

Centennial Airport is seeking a new board member, if anybody is interested contact Commissioner John Brackney.

A Comprehensive plan for the future of Arapahoe County is being formulated now. The County Commissioners are seeking input for the plan which will eventually become how the county will be to continue its growth in an order fashion."
