On the November 2nd ballot, there will be two initiatives concerned with transportation. Voting "Yes" for either one will not involve a tax increase. Referendum 1A is presented by the State of Colorado and involves debt financing of numerous highway improvement projects, including I-25 and I-225. Referendum 4A is presented locally by RTD and, if passed, would allow bond financing for the light rail portion of the I-25/I-225 Multi-Modal Project.
