- Sat, Sep 13, Attic Sale, 9 AM?—4 PM, Commanders House, 647 S. Main. Entertainment & food available. 6 ft tables for $20 for those who wish to sell their items. Info: 224-1684.
- Wed, Sep 17, Fundraiser for Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC), 6?—9 PM, many Taco Cabanas. From 6?—9 PM, go into any of the cooperating Taco Cabanas and, when you order, say ?“I am here to support the Neighborhood Resource Center.?” Then eat your food as usual. At the end of the night, 20% of the receipts from people saying they were there to support the NRC will be donated to the NRC. In our area the Taco Cabanas at Marbach & Loop 410 and 8030 Culebra are participating. NRC is a non-profit organization which puts on the annual Neighborhood Conference each June. Info: 735-0586.
