VIA?’s has two suggestions for bus service to our area in their new Comprehensive Service Plan (CSP): 1) decreasing regular bus service in our area from the current range of (every 30 to 120 minutes) to ONLY once-an-hour, OR, 2) eliminating bus service in our area altogether, except for an hourly bus route on Old Pearsall Road (Five Palms to Ray Ellison).
VIA has NO increased east-west service planned along Old Pearsall Road, as we had asked for. VIA?’s public meetings are over, but you can still contact them to let they know your opinion, prior to their final decision this fall. You can contact VIA at 362-2007, or FAX 362-2572, or
