I would like to know when the city plans on installing speed humps.  I was told it would be after the street paving was completed.  I have lived here for 25 yrs & have watched the amt of cut thru traffic & speeding increase.  I have heard one excuse after the other on why they were not  being put in. All were nothing more than excuses. The city could poss cut down on the amt of cut thru traffic by placing the humps on Houston prior to  4 way stop.  We also have a problem with city residents  who barely tap their brakes when coming to the stop signs. They should also be placed on all the long straight streets: Houston, Martha &  Hewitt. We have to do more thanjust  taking cars off of the steet to prove we are a city serious about resident safety.  Every subdivision/city around Louisville that is serious about slowing down traffic  already has them..are we going to be last ?
