The HOA board has published the budget that we are working from until fiscal year end of July 31, 2009. You can view the PDF file on the front page of the website.

This has been a difficult budget due to many factors. We were faced with a minus deficit from the start and have found other bills along the way. Also we have experienced the largest number of assessment non payments in the HOA history. Over 40 homes have elected to neglect their lawful obligation this year. Approximately 30 new liens have been applied to these properties. In the coming months, the board will decide whether to publish the addresses of these freeloaders who fail to pay their assessment dues.

Because of the loss of over $6,200 due to non payment along with the theft of $60,000 that has resulted in a felony charge for a former board member, the board does not have the funds to provide police protection to the neighborhood. Remember if you need to report a crime or incident, call LMPD at 911 for emergencies or 311 for non-emergency issues.

We are paying our current bills, working on the past due accounts and move forward on improvements to the neighborhood. Keep returning to the HOA website for updates and information.
