A great time was had by all. We have some great cooks in this neighborhood. Bridget won first place. Paula and I tied for second. Many thanks to all who came. It was a big help to have people bring tables and chairs, not to mention all the great side dishes. A special surprise was the chocolate cake that was brought for Sandy's Birthday. Yum! Yum! The weather was just perfect. Afterward, a few of us sat around talking and watching/playing with some neighbors dogs. This was our second annual event and I look forward to next years. If you missed it, try to come to our Easter egg hunt/cookout on Sat., April 19th. It's at our Kenwood Seminole park at 29th St. and 3rd. Ave. N. The hunt starts at 10:30am with the cookout after. This is a bring your own food event, but I know you'll find plenty of fun at the park.
