Hello! The following is the text of a message sent to Wrice marchers today, re: the march tonight. Anyone interested, please be at the City Hall parking lot (2nd Ave N, at NE corner of intersection with 5th St N) tonight (Wednesday) at 6:00 p.m. Our city still has some very virulent pockets of drug activity and our neighbors need our help, the same way they marched with us when we were cleaning up our streets! Peace out!

Great march last week...Our chalk artists Jeanne, Christina and Edna showed their usual exceptional skill; some poor drug dealer left his crack when he heard us coming and we spotted it cleaning up the parking lot and alley between the Subway and the liquor store/bar on 22nd Avenue South from 47th Street to 49th Street; Officers Calhoun and Capra confirming it was crack by field testing it. Good job!
New Chant by Neighborhood Partnership Intern Derrick Glover: (to the tune of Jingle Bells)
''Jingle bells, cocaine kills, crack will rot your brain;
Up with hope, down with dope 'til drugs are on the wane!''
