Neighborly Advice

I am truly sorry that you are so angry Carol. Thank you for sharing with me your judgements on genuine humor. I am enlightened and now fully understand. I am though, most disturbed that a person who preaches about how PROACTIVE, POSITIVE and NEIGHBORLY she is would even think about being this downright mean and nasty! I originally responded to Raymond's concerns about the neighborhood because I too, have some of the same concerns (along with others that concern traffic safety). I have very strong convictions about this. I apologize that this left such a distaste in your mouth. Life is just too short for this and you are more than welcome to open up a discussion about positive things that we can all discuss instead of personally bashing others.

Thanks Bill, that's a good idea and exactly what I've been thinking of. I spoke with one of the men in traffic engineering a couple of days ago. He seems to think that this is a feasible solution (well not solution but at least a step in the right direction). It's now just a matter of the city scheduling the signs to be put up. I know that additional signage in here is not the most attractive thing to look at but these are the type of things that will promote safety on our streets.

Just to be fair,

didn't this all start about a concern about how much time was spent in clubs and how we could better spend our time to improve the neighborhood??? After rereading, yes, I think so.

Downright mean and nasty? Bashing? If commenting on others who complain about other peoples actions is ''mean, nasty and bashing'', than I guess I have a different opinion. I just don't see it.
