The City ordered the demolition of the townhomes, and the owners, Palm Beach Developers, appealed to the Council. The owners and City entered into a stipulated agreement. If any of the stipulations and deadlines in this agreement are not met, the agreement is terminated and the order for demolition is carried forward. The initial deadlines of Nov. 15 and Dec. 4 have passed, and it is unclear whether the stipulations required to be met by those dates were met. Feb. 28 is the next deadline, and by this date, the structure must be totally dried in--the roof constructed the windows and doors installed and appropriate permits pulled and inspections passed. I have a copy of the entire agreement and will see if I can get it posted. Our City Team Meeting is Tues., Feb. 20, and we will receive an update on this project at that time.
