Great thanks should be given to all those who forced CVS to compromise. This includes the Mayor, members of the City Council and of the commissions who voted yes BUT said they expected the plan to be modified to suit the neighborhood.

Yes, thanks to all listed above. And a special thanks to Steve Kip and Greg Burton for a last minute show of determination to see that CVS made real and substantial changes.

Gratitude

This community really showed that it can rise to meet challenges and make the best out of what was initially presented as a totally inappropriate development. The literally hundreds of residents who were involved in the process at one time or another should be applauded and encouraged to stay active so that their neighborhood is never threatened like this again.

Yes, Steve, you did call it way back when. Lot's of turmoil has been created by those with personal vegence toward you - and who did not have the facts. I applaud your grit and determination.
