Here's reality:
8 of the current board members were ELECTED at the January membership election meeting
(there are 11 on the board)
3 resigned. 1 because time did not permit attendance at meetings & that person was doing other volunteer work in the community. 1 to protest
the blocking of membership input &
the unapproved appearance of another board member at city meetings. 1 whose letter of resignation was not read into the record.
3 have joined the board as replacements. 2 are long term members. 1 of those 2 has been a very active member for years. 1 is relatively new to the neighborhood & has renovated a home.
So, we have a super majority + of the current board who were elected.
The new president did state that he did not want the job. But he did not state that he would not perform the duties of the job until the next election.
