my, my mikey - aren't we nasty. you really need a finishing school. but, since that may be too late, let stella give you some ideas. please try not to let your anger guide your thoughts. we must try to be calm and gentle throughout this devisive time. listen to serene music, take a walk on the beach, take a hot shower and go to bed early. by all means, stay away from that team of mean spirited people you've been hanging out with. hope this help. if all else fails see susan for one of those anger management consultations.

who'd you represent?

You did not represent me, one of ''The 31'' when you failed to vote to remove S. Lang from office. You had to be at that Jan 19 meeting to understand, I guess. The meeting started out OK- the high notes of giving out plaques to the house tour folks was really nice and everyone seems to be in a good frame of mind. It was down hill from there. Lang's behavior was abrasive and abusive right from the start of the meeting. Many people tried to be respectful and discuss different issues and were rudely treated. Over the years we had seen some of this behavior from time to time but that meeting was a couple of HOURS of really disturbingly obsessive/controlling behavior. It was almost unreal. He wanted to censor the website, repeatedly barked things at the secretary, wanted to appoint new committee chairs, said he was in office for the next 18 months (?), treated the guest speaker as if he was not there, etc. It was truly awful.
By the time he began to insult audience members personally, a few people quietly left and the tension just built in the room. Clearly, this man cannot lead this neighborhood.
I wish you had trusted your first instincts and followed your promise
to represent the people at that meeting. I will never attend a special meeting to address this issue. I have seen enough of this man's behavior. It is the board's duty to handle this, not shove it back to us.
